Downey Law won an interlocutory appeal to a single justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, which vacated a preliminary injunction to enforce non-competition agreements against two former employees of a student travel company. As a result of the court’s ruling, our clients were free to resume their employment with their new employer without restriction.

The Downey Law website went live today. Designed by Taussig Communications, the website includes a description of our boutique firm and the services it offers to corporate clients. Visitors can also click on drop-down lists of Alicia Downey’s notable cases, speaking engagements, publications (with links to many articles), and community and bar leadership positions.

@Alicia Downey actively participated in the Twittersphere for the first time today by sending its first tweet. The firm plans to tweet at least once a week, to provide brief updates on our professional activities as well as comments on news and developments in the areas of antitrust, litigation and appellate advocacy.

Downey Law LLC opened in Boston, Massachusetts. The firm, which focuses on antitrust counseling, business litigation and appeals, was founded by Alicia Downey, a former partner with Bingham McCutchen LLP.
